In life you realize that there is a purpose for everyone you meet. Some will test you, some will use you, and some will teach you. But most important are the ones that bring out the best in you. Those are the ones worth keeping around.
I feel it is very important to get involved in life and meet people. I have met two extraordinary people within a week of each other in two different aspects of my life. I reacquainted with a friend Karen Brooks who recently moved back from Texas. Her son Breaden is playing on my high school tennis team. Karen and her husband Ron showed up at my high school player/parent tennis meeting. She is a blood cancer survivor and wellness specialist. I also met an extraordinary individual Dean Hall (pictured above) through the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. He is also a blood cancer survivor who amazingly used no drug therapy and is cancer free. Please visit his website at www.swimminginmiracles.com. I am so excited to develop a relationship with Dean and rekindle my relationship with Karen and Ron. Dean and Karen are helping me in my quest to control and defeat my leukemia and are good friends. We are going to get together also on a social basis. My advice to anyone at any age is always keep an open heart and open mind. Try to remain as positive as you can and the right people will come into your life for the right reason and bring out the best in you!
